Materials large diameter log (aprox. 24") 2x4's 5' long (3) 1-1/4" screws (6) 3" deck screws (6) hinge (about 3 or 3.5" wide) Assembly The construction is pretty self-explanatory from the pictures. Cut about a 3" thick slice off of a big log. Screw two the 2x4's to it at an angle, leaving enough space between them for the third leg. ,Mount the center one on a hinge. The third leg in the illustrations is made of two pieces. This was done only because I was using short scraps to make it.
